For those not in the know, Royal Blood consists of just a drummer and a bass player. The bass signal is split into two - one signal stays as the bass, while the other goes through various effects and is raised in pitch so it sounds like a six string electric guitar. These two sounds can then be mixed together or used singly to give the impression that a bigger band is playing. Just imagine all the extra money each band member can earn when it doesn't need to be split four or five ways!

The transcription has the instructions "Bass in" and "Bass out" to indicate which sounds are being used. The guitar sound stays on throughout the track.
